The Nature Conservancy hired Red Sky to create a positioning and messaging platform, specific to the organization’s conservation work in Greater Yellowstone. The platform was developed to inspire current donors to increase giving, engage new supporters and members and educate internal staff about The Nature Conservancy’s vision for the region. To develop this platform, Red Sky began by conducting an audit of current messaging used by nonprofits working in the Greater Yellowstone. Next, Red Sky conducted interviews with key donors, stakeholders, board members and volunteers close to the organization. Upon gathering these insights, Red Sky developed a positioning and messaging platform that outlined communication objectives, positioning statements, global messages and audience-specific messages, and presented this to the directors and communication staff of The Nature Conservancy in Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.
